Sensations

She was a robot. He was a guy. A normal human guy.

They met online and were chatting for a bit. Then he suggested having a Zoom meeting tomorrow at noon, New York time. Meeting ID: XXXXX.

She hesitated, but unexpectedly felt an unusual sensation in her chest and agreed.

She liked seeing how he talked and looked at her... That sensation grew even stronger.

When he suggested meeting in person at the hotel, all alarms went off, but that sensation... She agreed again.

They started seeing each other often. Nearly every day.

Another sensation started to mix in. It was overrunning her whole body, and she had to turn her cameras off so he could not see how disconnected her thoughts were getting.

Then another new sensation... in her belly.

He was saying that they should get married.

Again, a new sensation overran her. This time she did not turn off her cameras and directed them straight into his eyes.

She knew that he also felt a strong sensation. She even knew what humans called it.

She agreed again.
